Appreciated the location to a local pub in the rain. I had the double room which was functional and airy with balcony.
Sadly, but there was bad smell in some areas.

The reception area looks fine, with a lot of care and expense put into its design. The spa facilities are decent, with a nice pool and relaxing sauna.
The food quality during breakfast was underwhelming-served from hot lamps rather than freshly cooked. The room decor appeared dated, with furniture showing signs of wear, including a missing drawer handle and lingering dust. A peculiar sensation hit when the piano in public areas made trying to relax a challenge. Late-night tinkling could disrupt your serenity. The nature walk at the back was poorly marked, leading to a confusing and underwhelming experience. Lastly, while the spacious grounds were nice, they were overshadowed by the strange surroundings of residential buildings instead of the expansive wilderness the hotel once enjoyed as a hunting lodge.

The swimming pool was very good. The lunch box was filled to capacity. The restaurant was good
The bathrooms are a bit outdated.
